Last weekend saw the 2nd and 3rd days of the Tri-Series between the Junior Trials, Ku-Ring-Gai and Hornsby clubs. As always The JT club put on a fantastic weekend thanks to the 2 x beautifully prepared tracks which were at a premium standard ready for competition. Hornsby would like once again to say a very big thank you to JT for always hosting a great event and for the effort that all their members have put into their tracks and grounds event whilst part way through the build of their new facilities and also preparing for the Minikhana State Titles which is only 2 weeks away.
After riders briefing and practice/sighting laps were done, competition proper got underway with the large track hosting the 65cc & 85cc/150 bikes and the smaller track hosting the nippers, 50cc Autos and Miniwheels. Hornsby was well represented through all classes, and most of our riders had at least one win for the day. Consistency paid off at the end of the day and some riders who had competed at all three rounds were rewarded for their top riding ability. Notably were Levi #765 who finished 2nd in A grade 65cc, Jack #151 who finished 1st in A grade 85cc SW and Brad #25 who finished 2nd in C grade 85cc SW. Well done to the remaining riders who all rode well and put in a great effort over the 2 days of riding. Well done to those riders and all the other Hornsby members who supported the series. Check out all the action in our gallery here. We look forward to seeing lots of members at the next BIG event which is the Minikahana State Tiles hosted by Junior Trials on 22nd & 23rd October at the Gwandalan club grounds.
