Chilli nights and beautiful sunny days, brought together a number of club members as they travelled into the Blue Mountains for the June Long Weekend. With overnight temps getting down to -1, the camp fire was the place to be to swap stories and share ideas for the following day. Icy frosts greeted riders in the morning as they awoke from their previous days riding slumber, only to bare the nip in the air over a bacon and egg roll as preparation got under way for the next days riding. Approx. 30 members spent the weekend exploring the numerous trails in the beautiful mountains south of Oberon, or ripped it up on the two moto cross tracks. A grass/rut track tested skills of the more experienced riders, as did the ski jump for the more adventurous. Whatever your forte, most people spent the days with a smile on their face, albeit hidden by helmet and goggles, to emerge unscathed and happy with their efforts over the 3 day weekend.
