 Our 2nd round of series 1 was held on Sunday 2nd of April 2017 with well over 30 riders competing on the day including many new families. We saw a few showers throughout the day but this didn't stop us from getting through all 9 events planned. These included:
Clover (footing and non-footing), Orange, Bending, Looping, Ring return, Accelerate and brake AccelR8 Minicross. Lunch time was exciting as we used our new canteen facilities for the very first time. The newly named "The Dirt Bite" was helpful in feeding all the hungry riders. With the weather perfect for riding and the track in good, fast condition all riders got two rounds of mini cross in. All races were competitive with some surprises on the podium this round. Results for the day were as follows: Nippers: Sienna, Danny, Kiera, Lily, Harper and Summer 1st 50cc Auto: Beau #798 1st Miniwheels: Lucy #34 1st 65cc: Jack #170 1st 85cc SW: Sam #279 1st 85cc BW: Will #48 Well Done to all riders, parents and officials for making the day a great success. We look forward to seeing you all again at our own Interclub Event to be held at the grounds of JT on Sunday 30th April. A working Bee will be held at the JT track on Saturday 29th April.
