A beautiful sunny day, that turned some what windy, greeted 13 Hornsby riders when Baulkham Hills Club presented their 2015 Minikhana Interclub regional event.
Seven events would be conducted over the day which got underway as close to on time as possible. A total of approx. 110 riders attended the event from seven clubs, with Baulkham Hills showing quite a presence in their new club jersey colours and design. Hornsby members, however, demonstrated some great riding to place highly in most events with some unfortunate draws, seeing a number of members face off against each other in the heat, only to have one knocked out of the final. Never the less, Hornsby members who rode brilliantly on the day and made it onto the podium were as follows: 3rd 50cc Auto A Grade - Ben #580 3rd Miniwheel A Grade - Mateo #31 2nd Miniwheel A Grade - Ethan #38 1st 65cc C Grade - Nick #17 3rd 65cc B Grade - Jack #15 1st 85cc Small Wheel C Grade- James #22 2nd 85cc Big Wheel B Grade - Jassie #222 2nd 85cc Big Wheel A Grade - Matt #262 Those results were enough to put Hornsby into 4th place overall out of the Seven clubs that competed, so well done to all members for your fantastic riding on the day. Our annual Enduro Day at the club will be held this weekend coming, Sunday 2nd August. Gates will open from the normal time, 8am and is a day not to be missed. Bring plenty of fuel and an appetite for some fun, challenging riding, covering most parts of our complex. A working bee will be happening on Saturday 1st August to help set the course and tidy any loose ends up for the Enduro Day so please come along and help out. Comments are closed.
