Officials and Marshals (aka, the Parents and Guardians)

The document below has been developed by the Hornsby Junior Dirtbike Committee and in no way replaces the Manual of Motorsport rules.  It was designed to be more user friendly for the new parent and rider to understand the different roles of Officials and Marshall's on race and practice days.

Race Flags

With all motor racing, there are certain rules and regulations that need to be followed to provide the safety our junior riders require.

There is a lot to know but by systematically working through all the rules and asking your kickstart coach to help explain them all, it will fall into place and become second nature for your young rider.
